Paint and colours in-house
Our paints are made at our own SVK workshops, which allows us to maintain control over the quality of the paint and guarantee the same quality to our customers at all times. Over the years, we have built up a thorough knowledge of the different types of coatings we use for our materials. At SVK, most of the coatings are on an acrylic or 2-component polyurethane base. All the coatings are water-based.
In addition, many custom colours can be developed with our pigment mixing machine. For larger projects from 150 m² and over, we offer custom colours for both façade panels and slates.
High-quality paint
In SVK's quality lab, the finished paints and materials are subjected to various tests. Checking for adhesion and water sensitivity are among the standard tests, but we also extensively check the colour-fastness of the coating, under the influence of UV radiation.
Protective film for façade panels during transport
The painted façade panels are coated with a self-adhesive or non-adhesive film. This is there to protect the surface of the panels during transport, storage and fitting. The film should be removed immediately after fitting.
Advantages in through-coloured panels
The colour pigment is added during the production process. The façade panels are through-coloured, therefore the edges are automatically coloured with them.
