01. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files which are saved temporarily or permanently on your computer or device by a website's server via the browser. The cookies contain a unique code that allows your browser to be recognised during your visit to that website (this is a session cookie) or also during subsequent visits or use (this is a permanent cookie).
Cookies allow to simplify, complete and personalise the use of the website.
02 Why do we use cookies?
The website of SVK uses different types of cookies: first-party cookies are placed only by the website itself and ensure that visitors' preferences can be remembered. Third-party cookies are placed by third parties and used by the SVK website.

Functional cookies are cookies that make the functioning of the website easier and more pleasant and ensure that you get a more personalised browsing experience. For example, these are the cookies that remember your language preference, as well as those that track whether you have already been asked to participate in a survey so that you are not presented with the same survey over and over again.
Analytical cookies are cookies that aim to collect information about how a visitor uses the website. For example, we collect information regarding the number of pages visited, session duration and the achievement or failure to achieve user goals on the website, in order to analyse and optimise the use of the website. The data we collect for this purpose is anonymised and therefore does not contain any personal data.
2.2 Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies are cookies that aim to optimise the user experience or to send targeted advertising to users. The cookies are often used to provide information to external marketing channels, such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Ads.
